The Long Island Golden Retriever Club was founded in 1962 by a small group of golden owners who trained their dogs and wanted to promote the accomplishments of their dogs in the field and the show ring. Since that time, our goal has been to promote one of America's favorite dog breeds. Our members participate in many activities such as: agility, breed conformation, field, obedience, rally and/or tracking. Chances are you have seen us training on a field or exhibiting at a show. If you love your Golden and are interested in doing more with your dog we encourage you to join us in one of our many activities.
